Senior Sales Manager Basic Oleochemicals – EMEA

ChemSynergy is a leading distributor and producer of oleochemicals and their derivatives, focused on the cosmetics/personal care industry, household products/detergents, and industrial applications.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated sales manager for our Basic Oleochemicals department, focused on the EMEA region. As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the sales of fatty acids, oils, and fats and a proven track record of selling chemical products.

Current status: October 2023

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring

    Expand ChemSynergy’s business areas in the EMEA sales region

  • Relationships

    Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while acquiring new customers

  • Sales Strategies

    Develop sales strategies and implement them in daily operations

  • Marketing

    Work closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns and sales promotions

  • Reporting

    Regularly complete reporting and forecasting tasks

Requirements

  • Experience

    Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in oleochemicals, specifically fatty acids, oils, and fats

  • Languages

    Fluent in English, additional languages are desirable

  • Knowledge

    Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar)

  • Success record

    Proven track record of selling chemical products

  • Communication

    Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally

  • Travel

    Willingness to travel within the EMEA sales region
